An excellent close-in portrait with impeccable detail, Tom!  Great dramatic lighting with the contrast of the dark background. Large view is a real treat. 8)

Just wanted to ditto what Ron already said.  Great lighting and wonderful detail of this female wood duck. A close up potrait of a wood duck doesnt get much better than this one.

Exceptional close-up- such beautiful detail, giving the lovely female her due. Love the bright eye and dark background.

I really like the mysterious light on this female. Great detail as well.
