THE PARENTS NESTED 20 FEET FROM THE BOARDWALK AND THE COMPETITION IS UGLY AMOUG THE PHOTOGRAPHERS ( NO RESPECT ), SO I DECEDIED TO GO BACK ON A RAINY DAY BECAUSE THERE WERE NO OTHER PEOPLE FOR THE WHOLE TIME THAT I WAS PRESENT. WITH-IN A WEEK OR SO THEY WELL BE ABLE TO FLY AWAY TO AN OTHER SPOT.

Well it looks like you got the prize photo anyway! Love the setting and the fuzzy hairdo. Least Bitterns must be getting urbanized. We've had a family in a small wetland behind a big shopping mall here. The youngsters are pretty grown up, but still there.
