This is the first time in over 15 years that I have ever seen 2 Reddish Egrets cooperatively fishing together. As most of you know, they are very territorial and always chase another off if it shows up in their area. This time the male? brought a mangrove branch to the female? which she accepted. There may be a mating in Tampabay for the first time. The world is changing and I guess that the birds are too!
