 A good Australian friend had set up a boat ride to a beautiful off shore island that these unique eagles like to hunt from. Seeing these beautiful birds hunting was a fantastic experience and one I will never forget. It's also pretty challenging shooting from a rocking boat and trying to keep the incoming eagle in the frame. I missed a few good opportunities but I managed to get a few nice frames in the beautiful early in the morning light, this being one of my favorites. I hope you like it.
