This adult male Yellow-green Vireo has migrated to same spot in West Texas (where he is not suppose to be) for three years. he sets up a breeding territory and harasses all he other breeding birds in the little park (Western Kingbirds, Bullock's Orioles, Golden-fronted WP, Vermilion FC, etc.. - lots of birds nest in or close to park that has permanent water) In mornings he is ex termly vocal - however unless he gets a female to migrate with him he has no chance to find a mate

A beautiful portrait of this Vireo rarity, Michael. The pose and detail are top-notch! No love, but at least this guy is consistent.
