The BG is the Gulmohar tree on which they had nested.

This is just as stunning as a in-flight image gets!!
I barley have strong enough words to tell you how much I like it.
A killer dynamic pose portraying lots of action, great overall detals and an increadibly beautiful background make for a real treat for the eyes and its one of your best images ever IMO!!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
I am a big fan of raptors and when I get comments like this, it makes me that much to work more harder hence forth to capture raptors in their best possible way. Here in India, the wildlife and wild places are just vanishing at such speeds, I think the current generation only will be able to enjoy them.. we are not leaving anything for the next generation. Its that sad...

I'm afraid that is happening all around us, Clement.  What a desolate world we are leaving .......  The beauty of nature and wildlife will be a distant memory.

I am a big fan of raptors too, and this image is an absolute masterpiece!
