One of the smallest but also coolest songbirds around Melbourne. Always great fun to see a tiny red bird darting through the woods.
This bird is at a friend's property and doesn't mind our presence anymore. So after getting some nice images on perches, I wanted to do something different, put my 2x extender on, and tried to get as close as I could. He didn't stay long but allowed me to get this portrait. The reds gave me a hard time, but I think I managed to tame them. 5D Mark IV 600 L IS II 2x TC III (1200mm) F11 ISO 800 1/640 |
