Hi guys,
I hope everyone is well during these crazy times.
This image is close to my heart. I have visited this nest for almost 10 years and it seems the same pair raises 2-3 clutches of babies in there every year. In the very first year, I visited this nest, the parents had two babies and both stuck their heads out of the nest at the same time! But I never got the shot I wanted. Ever since I have returned there every year trying to get the shot of two babies and both parents, but something never worked out. Some years they had only 1 baby or other years I missed the 1-2 days the babies stick their heads out of the nest before leaving.
A few months ago, it finally all came together!

Congratulations on finally getting the shot you were after, Jan. It is a beautiful image, and I like the space around the parents and babies.

Fantastic shot. Love the small in frame and the view of the whole family with perfect head angles on all four of them! Congrats and you patience and hard work surely paid off.

A real beauty(as is true of all your images) and a special image! Great eye contact, colors, BG and nest cavity.

Great shot and congrats. Why did you go for a center comp?

I have a vertical version too. I liked the nest in the middle and also the leaves on the upper rhs and the bird are also kinda looking right at me and not in a specific direction
