I agree with Craig, beautiful background and perch. Was this bird molting? Curious about the discoloration in the plumage.

Ron, I believe this is an immature male and does not have all of its colors yet.

Ron, I believe this is an immature male and does not have all of its colors yet.
Thanks, Darrell. That was my first thought, but I see juvenile males in the spring that do not look like this. Perhaps an anomaly.
