Simple image.  Fence post with a back drop of a Welsh hillside dropping away from the distance.  (Plynlimon Range/Cambrian range near Rhyader).  

techs were Nikon 300 F2.8 at F4.  1/500.  Gitzo 1548 and Wimberley Gymbal.  

Such beautiful Owls.

This is really nice. I am not normally a fan of man made stuff in a shot but that mossy and weathered fence post looks great. Owl is beautiful and I love the background. Excellent image!

the bg colors adds a lot to the owl to make it stand out with-in this image, nicely captured DAVID.
