Olympus E-M1 Mk III, 40-150 f/2.8 @ 150mm, 1/1250 sec., f/4.5, ISO: 200.
I visited the nest again yesterday between showers. For some reason the bird (didn't see its mate) was reacting differently to my being there. It flew around the nest several times and seemed to be looking at me intently. In my previous visits the birds would fly around a little when I arrived but quickly got used to my presence and settled in to their normal routine. Perhaps there are eggs in the nest and they're instinctively reacting in a protective manner? In any case I'll give them a few days before I return. Mike P.S.
