House Finch (m)
Haemorhous mexicanus

I don't often focus on this species; they're abundant and, to me, kind of boring, but this one in this setting caught my eye as I was waiting for flashier species.

Excellent photo. Very few people have quality photos of common birds or backyard birds. I think they are severely overlooked. Pose is great, perch and background are great. A good photo is a good photo regardless of the species!

Nothing boring about this image, Craig. The rose tones in the vegetation complement your subject beautifully. Excellent.

Residing this side of the pond, I am blissfully unaware of it being abundant, other than the notes, so can enjoy this fine image Craig. Beautiful harmony of complimentary colours too.

Arranged beautifully. Agree with all that has been said.
Make your life spectacular!
