Taken at a pond in Seattle I called my "studio" pond, as it often produced pictures like this one. BTW, is this a non-breeding male or female?

7D, 1/320, f/7.1, ISO 400, 500mm - 1.4x

The gorgeous golden water really provides "high impact" to the viewer. The bird is a bit dark but has excellent detail. Image looks best when viewed large. Very nicely done, Enrique!

I'm sure an expert can put us right, Enrique, but I always think that the females have a lighter coloured beak - like this one of yours.  Even on the non breeding males, the beak is darker.  Just my 2 cents worth.  :)
