Patience and patience was the name of the game that we played along with Alan Murphy on the Eagles & Songbirds of Alaska workshop, to coax this beauty onto this beautiful perch. It was the highlight of the day and no reasons to deny that. Thanks Alan.

Beautiful image of one of my favourite birds.

I'd crop tighter personally.

Great colorful perch, nice background, and excellent pose, Ramesh. The berry in the bill is a bonus. Well done!

I may not be able to go out and collect a lot of pixels of my own atm, but I'm glad the folks here are willing to share theirs.
Thanks.

This is nearly outstanding! I love the bird and the rich, warm colors, the touch of snow, and the berry in bill. I would crop the lhs just a little to get rid of that broken or cut off branch that is currently only about a 1/4 inch from the frame edge. I also might try to tone down the whites under the bird. My criticisms seem to be a lot, but I really enjoy looking at this one! Great job! Sharon
