this female (I believe) has been hanging around the house.  I was able to get close once. Vertical crop from original.  Wanted to grab a flying shot - therefore the settings. Comments welcome

In my humble opinion....I like the pose and intentional expression. Might crop barbed wire. Nicely viewed on darker background.

A wonderful penetrative look by this hawk, Enrique. Good detail and a great background. Agree with AnnaMaria on the barbed wire. Nice shot.

As Ron Said. Also I think you wanted to write down, 1/2000 s instead of 1/200.

you are right. It is 1/2000

I also wanted the image to retain its "semi-urban" nature. But I it would be easy to remove the wire... :)

I always think that if its where they choose to sit, its alright with me. The wire is part of the image - and the image is really beautiful, Enrique. The detail and colour tones are lovely.
