Found this little chappie with the assistance of Neil McIntyre, a professional and guide in the Scottish Highlands. Taken in the open. No hide.. One of the rarer birds in Scotland with only 2,000 nesting pairs.
Only time that seems to work to see them are in the winter months. Despite looking very green, this was at -5C in early February. Not much by some standards, but ideal for bringing them down to feed. Techs. Nikon D7100 and Sigma sport 150-600 at 600. ISO 3200. 1/400 F6.3. Processed today. please feel free to view uncompressed. Thank you for looking. Make your life spectacular!
