Nice flight-a bit dark on my screen, but a beautiful shot.

A striking image, which really needs to be clicked on and viewed with dark surrounds in order to be fully appreciated. Impressive exposure and detail. Well done, Mike!

Yes, I have noticed that the image shown by default in the galleries seems to consistently be at least 1/3 stop darker and also flatter looking than the actual image submitted.  Not sure why ... resizing alone should not make that happen.

The dark blue background is a real statement with the black and white bird. Super flight shot Mike!

I always click on the images to get the full, uncompressed view and it always reveals the true beauty of the shot - as it does with this excellent flight capture, Mike. Beautifully exposed for the plumage too.
