Taken in my backyard from inside through the slightly open sliding door. It was feeding on a poor Dark-eyed Junco.

I love the way the hawk is illuminated with the dark surroundings, Karl. A great behavioral and action shot.

Terrific shot! Such detail! Our poor Juncos always seem to get hit too, though I rarely see the predator-just a few feathers. Wonderful opportunity you had for a close view while the hawk was busy feasting.
