Excellent image. Good job positioning yourself for direct light and also so both limbs are parallel to your position so both birds are in focus. I don't think the limbs leaving the frame detract at all from the image. It's a natural extension of the tree.

I like the composition, and what a treat to get both male and female together (I assume...). I prefer natural habitat. There is one little grey spot on the right that could probably be removed, but not the branches. Really nice shot!

Great job of photographing this lovely pair of Flickers, AnnaMaria. As Gene noted, getting both in focus is not easy.
