These amazing birds were my main target last year, after never being able to get great photos of them previously. It took a few trips, but eventually, I got a few shots I was very happy with.
This is a pair, the female is on the left with the red eye-ring.

A gorgeous image of this pair, Jan. The curving perch is perfect, and the facing poses are beautiful. Excellent work, as always.

I can't say enough about this shot Jan!! These are my favorite Cockatoos and this frame has everything you could ever ask for in capturing a pair like this. Two different directions, perfect head angles, crest raised on both, awesome perch, great BG and beautiful details!! If you had a dream about capturing these guys, this would be it!!
