Common Goldeneye - Arizona
a7R IV, 200-600mm @ 600mm, f/6.3, ISO 800, 1/200s
A very cold morning in Arizona's high country after an overnight snowstorm saw a dawn with some colorful clouds that are reflected on the water.  This was my first shot of the morning which I didn't think would amount to anything because of the very slow shutter speed but the combination of a bean bag on the ground for stability, a slow moving duck, and both in camera and lens stabilization resulted in one of my favorite shots of the whole day.

Did you click on the photo to get it to the size as posted without resampling?  NSN often shows photos soft when you don't click on them due to resampling the image for a smaller view.

EJ, no offense, but the image just looks soft to my eyes... 1/200 will work but I don't think it did here....

The reflection of the colorful clouds on the water is absolutely gorgeous. Great pose as well, and the golden eye is killer.

Lovely palette, E.J., but the blacks look grey on my screen?
Regards,
