A bird that rarely comes close to shore. There was one among the many hundreds of Long-tailed Ducks and sometimes it came close.

They are unusual cool looking ducks. Good job getting close and making the best of the opportunity. Capturing the orange foot beneath the water helps to give the bird some life and dimension, nice timing.
