One of the prettiest birds in Australia. They live in the drier areas and while not rare, it's always tricky to get images of them.
They only have their crests up for a few seconds after landing or when they're scared or excited. If you miss the moment, the bird basically loses all its amazing colours and just looks white with a bit of pink. 5D Mark IV 600 L IS II 1.4x TC III ISO 800 F8 1/640 |
