Wonderful, dynamic action-pose, with raised wings, Gene. The perch and cactus add a lot to the scene. A beautiful Caracara image.

like the shot and the sharpness, wright on, it's almost all there expect for the bar line in the middle of the image that hurts the end result.

Peter,
Thanks for pointing out the line.  I do not know what it is or how it got there?  Agree with you about its impact.

It is a great action type shot Gene. The bar is easy to get rid off.

Kim,
I did get rid of the bar, but cannot figure out how to repost without getting rid of the original and I've learned that the Moderators frown on that practice.  Maybe someone can explain to a non-computer person how to do this?

Gene, click on "Preview" when preparing your reply. Then, cllick on the icon that looks like a TV Screen (second from the right) and that will allow you to upload your new image after alterations.

Great shot! Was that shadow-like bar on the RAW file? It looks too uniform/perfect to be a real shadow. . . .
