Winter is upon us, and the Juncos are fairly abundant. I love their two tones-they can blend with snow on the ground and dark cover above. Unfortunately (for them), they seem to be most commonly attacked in our yard, generally by a Cooper's or Sharpie. Or...an feral cat. They seem to hold their own even so.

Cynthia, Nice looking bird. You did well to process it at ISO 3200. For me, the foreground and background makes the image.

A wonderful winter scene, Cindy. Love the pose and eye contact of this lovely Junco. And the evergreens add a holiday flair. Well done.

Brrrrrr.... its that time of year again!  What a lovely view of this little beauty all fluffed out on its cold perch, and such a pretty setting with the green foliage and snow.  Beautifully done, Cindy.  :)
