Colonised New Zealand from Australia in the 1850s and now common and widespread, often in large flocks in winter.

Very nice, Zig. I like the pose and framing. And the background bird, not totally out of focus, works for me here. Thanks for sharing NZ birds.

They seem to have mutated a little compared to the silver eyes we have here. I am in two minds about the off bird but it is a different presentation than we normally see. Over all I like it.

A sweet image of this pretty little subject and I like the inclusion of the oof second bird which suggests to us that they are not a solitary species.
