A young Gt. Blue Heron intent on some potential food. Kentville, NS, Canada, Nov. 2019. Nikon D500, 300 F4-PF-VR and 1.7x TC. 1/2500, F7.1. Hand-held. Manual with auto-ISO. Processed in LR cc and AI Clear. Thanks for looking and any comments.

Great image quality with that combination, Richard. When viewed large, the detail really pops. Sharp as a tack. Good job.

Richard, I originally viewed this image on my iPad Pro, and tonight I checked it out on my 30 in. display. Image still looks good, but on the large display it appeared just a little over sharpened. I just pass that along for your benefit in post processing your future images. Still a fine image.

Richard, Very nice details in the bird and surrounding environment. Not sure how much you cropped, but I think it would be even nicer with more room around the bird, especially above the GBH?
