Shot few days ago in very low light. I didn't want to push ISO past 1600...lens was wide open so I lowered shutter speed to 1/50.
I knew odds were stacked against me to get any decent shot, but some time blurred images comes out nicely. This shot came surprisingly not bad.
D2Hs, (MF) 500mm f'4 P ED IF + TC-16A (1.6X TC)
1/50, ISO-1600, f/6.3 on tripod.

Love the feel to this Ludo. Very impressionistic. Placement and use of habitat tell a wonderful story

Nice to try for something different... Pretty frame, I just think it needs something sharper on the bird.
These are tough to do, keep trying....

Lovely image, Ludo. I love the impressionistic look. It appears you were panning the owl, because it is relatively sharp compared to the surrounding habitat, which is blurred. Great job!
