Beautiful takeoff shot, Dan. The color, light, and water droplets are wonderful. Your pond has been the site for some amazing images, including this one.

Dan, this is wonderful. I have yet to come even close to getting a wood duck in flight. I like everything about this image, but do agree that toning down the bright area in the background would help make this even better.
Remember, a little mild insanity keeps us healthy
