Over the last few weeks, there has been 6 blue jays hanging out in the back yard. Lots of images have been taken, then I have been trying flight (action) shots. Quit a few deletes, to get just a few like this one, which is what I have been striving for.

Thanks for looking..

Great flight position with the spread wings and tail, Boyd. And the open beak is a plus. The jay is a little dark on my display. Reminds me of the type of work that Alan Murphy is known for. Very nicely done.

Nice effort... I would clone out the branches and add canvas to the left if it were mine.
Excellent pose, open beak a real bonus.

Eye catching image Boyd. A little dark on my monitor too. Nicely done!

Boyd, a great image. To improve the image, I would crop tighter to the tail and give more room for him to fly into. I would also brighten it up some.

Beautiful flight pose with fanned wings and tail, and sweet detail. Another vote for going a touch lighter/brighter.
