Taken a few days ago in the SW part of Scotland, during a family visit to the area. The image was quite heavily cropped and the perch isn't what I would have preferred, but sometimes you take what you can get.

Image captured using a Canon 5D4 with an EF500 Mk2 and a 1.4TC Mk3. Hand held

ISO1250 at f5.6 & 1/400sec

The soft light and clean background really show off this bird beautifully, Bill. And I’m ok with the perch. Well done.

Beautiful subject, Bill, and the perch was his choice so its fine with me.  Sweet pose and detail.

We were in Scotland and Skye a couple of weeks ago - both as beautiful as ever. :)
