Gloomy end of day image.  Rare bit of cold and snow.   Bg was a rough field more marsh than grass.

Please feel free to view uncompressed.  Thanks for looking.

A beauty of a Barn Owl. The look back and the moss on the post are nice, as is the BG.

Thank you Lana and Joe, it's appreciated.  You both produce beautiful images, so when I say it's appreciated, it's not lip service.

Gorgeous image, Dave. Love the composition and the detail. And the owl really pops on that beautiful background. Superb.

Now that is a spectacular image David, the over the shoulder pose, the wet post and barbed wire, the complementary background colouring, the talons are visible and what looks like the remains of a recent meal around the beak and it's a Barn Owl which aren't exactly overly common. That is a beauty.
