Swainson's Thrush are pretty rare here, mostly seen in migration. This one flew across my driveway and sat on a log obligingly- just happened to have my camera in my car.
As usual, looks better uncompressed. (Is there anything that doesn't?)  :)

good one and I like that you included the pine branch with-in the image, from my side a tripod would help in all cases, good job on this one CYNTHIA.

Thanks Peter. No time for a tripod with this one- a fleeting glance was all I had time for!

Cute little puffed up ball. Looking pretty good for ISO-4000.

Good opportunity and a very nice picture Cindy. They like to hop around on logs and on the ground.

You definitely made the most of this unusual opportunity, Cindy. A cute little thrush beautifully posed on the attractive log perch. :)
