Snakes first flight

Tawny eagle with unidentified snake. Watched this bird pull the snake from its tangled position in some deadfall. It then took the snake to a tree and fed its recently fledged offspring. 

Nikon d4 500mm with 1.4 tc handheld.

Excellent image of this eagle with the snake. The curl in the snakes tail makes it. The background habitat is a bonus. Very well done!
