Since the name change, I have been unable to find and photograph a dusky grouse in the Rockies during my brief annual visits. I found this fellow in Grand Teton N. P.. I slowly circled to get the best mid-day light I could find. As I took a knee to get a lower angle I was nearly blindsided by three running mule deer. They missed me, but ran right over the top of my photo subject. He flew, I cursed. I got this one frame before he flew. 7D2, Sigma 150-600mmC@275mm, F5.6, 1/1600, ISO 800, -0.33 EC, handheld. Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave
