What a unique image. The out of focus highlights provide a very dramatic effect, but are a little bright and tend to pull my attention away from the egret. The composition with the egret off center is very good. Nice work.

I love this! Way to take the light and the distance of the egret and use it to your advantage. You made a cool shot out of something lots of people wouldn’t have even hit the shutter on.

I agree with Ron, but think if you cropped the foreground for a more pano look, this would work very well.  It is quite unique and well seen!
