Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula.  This is a full frame image - because it is vertical the quality is not possible to show.

Canon 7D Mark 2 + 600mm IS lens
1/1000 sec, f/10
Mode: Manual
Metering: Evaluative
ISO: 400

“. . . the quality is not possible to show.”

Looks pretty good to me, Paul. Great pose, with the raised wings, and excellent detail. The complementary background is the perfect finishing touch.

get that Paul. Beautiful image. Horizontal works a treat for viewing larger but this frame as shown, begged for the vertical so you've nailed it, albeit a small sacrifice in not being able to see it at its best. (I'd take that any day with this image).
