Rose-breasted Grosbeak

I hadn't walked along the boardwalk at Riverside Park in Cambridge for months, but today's venture produced several photo opportunities incl this bold young male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. 

ISO640 + f8 + 1/250
Canon 5D Mk4 + EF500 + 1.4TC
Tripod - no flash
Dull morning ... threatening rain (perfect ... my fav weather)

BTW ... did you know that the Grosbeak is from the french (grosbec) and means big beak
