I haven't been doing anything lately as I had some issues with my vision lately.
This image is from about two weeks ago. The fish has been caught but still under water at this moment.

You're getting great milegae out of these osprey-like the big splash and raised wings. Hope your vision improves!!

Karl, Can they go so deep and stay in the water too long that it's hard for them to fly out?

Thanks Gene. All I know is that sometimes they catch a fish too big and after ten minutes or so struggle let it go.
They can fly, shake the water out and catch a smaller one in no time. I witnessed this and posted one image of the struggle last year.

Terrific action with the Osprey splashing in the water with a raised wing, Karl. Well done.

You have a brilliant collection of these Osprey images (and everything else as well) and this is a great action capture, Karl.

I hope your vision problems get better soon.

Carol.
