Mostly I have seen them in large groups. But in the early winters of 2017 I found this single goose quietly sitting on the sand banks. On a closer look I observed a very peculiar thing in it. It was blinded on the left eye and was always keeping a watch on me by moving and placing itself sin such a way that It could watch me with its right eye. Poor fellow.

Shot with Nikon D500
300 mm f/2.8
1.4X TC

1 / 2500s

f / 7.1

ISO 640

Another fine image Biru. So interesting the game it played by its movements so you're not on its blind side.

Its amazing how wildlife can adapt to injury and survive. Beautiful image, Biru, excellent capture of the goose and lovely layered background.
