Photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas April 14, 2019.  2019 was the best year for wildflowers in ten years.  There's a tropical depression going across South Texas now and I hope for lots of rain.

I love this bg, so different from what I’d expect for the Ranch, (I’ve only been for a few hours, but seen lots of photos!) or for this species. Great light and exposure, perfect DOF, and I like the comp.
