After waiting hours for anything to arrive several Scarlet Macaws dropped down to the lick for a drink. I caught this guy looking my way as he took a brief pause.

The dark background sets off this beautifully colored Macaw perfectly, Chuck. Amazing light and lovely detail. Excellent work.

Charles, Looks nicer clicked on showing better details. Like the rocks and water providing a natural environment. Could see selectively brightening the bird just a tad to help it stand out.

Wonderful colour palette and detail against the dark background, and the pose is the icing on the cake!
