Early morning feed- very hard to get these 2 in focus, and good light. Wish the shadows weren't there, but it is rare to capture this event in any kind of light. This seems to be a late brood, or broods- we have about 12 assorted Evenings, some young, some molting. The adult males seem to do most of the feeding. Please click to improve clarity.

This is a rare capture, for sure. We have this species around but I have never witnessed this.

Congratulations Cindy.  Striking behaviour caught at the perfect moment!  Must be viewed large to enjoy at it's very best.

Excellent feeding action and behavior, Cindy. Both birds are sharp and their poses are ideal. And a sweet background to rap it up. Such a fine daddy bird feeding the young.

Nice interaction and excellent DOF to get both sharp...
I think it is a tad bright and could go lower for me.
You did a good job reducing shadows.

Beautiful detail in the uncompressed view, and well done dad looking after his babies! Good work getting both in focus, Cindy, and this is a really sweet capture.
