These large sized geese loves to move around in groups. Often they can be seen roosting in the sun together. In December, 2016 I attempted this shot. They normally would take a run-up before taking off. In this group there was also a Ruddy Shelduck which is peeping from behind.

Shot with Nikon D500 + Nikon 300 mm f/4 ( Non-VR ) + 1.4X TC

1 / 5000s

f / 8.0

ISO 1000

This is fantastic. great low angle and soft BG. Love all the birds in the frame with all different wing positions.

Sweet low angle on this nice group takeoff. These are not easy shots, and you have done well here. The light and layered background are excellent.

Not easy to capture a group take off when they all have their own ideas, Biru! Good attempt.
