I did the best I could with awful light and my camera set at jpeg normal for some unexplainable reason and not checking my blinkies, so I recovered the highlights as much as I could.

Still, I loved the shot!

I hate when that happens... You did well with the jpeg. Whites are a bit toasted
but the image is sharp and both birds in focus.
