Carrying her catch back to the nest after eating more than half of it, by sitting in a dead tree on the other side of the river.
The nesting period is more or less over, they are on their own.

Its amazing how quickly they become self sufficient - I guess its a case of having to grow up fast to survive! A great angle on her approach, Karl, and lovely diagonal wingspread.
