Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula (EUP)

This image was taken 5 years ago, when Tennessee Warblers were starting to become more common in the EUP.  This year there is a loose colony of 20+ within 2 miles of my home.  They have lots of deciduous saplings in their nesting zone, with Spruce budworm infested spruces interspersed - the ideal conditions for a colony to form.

Great shot with that worm- getting a lot of mileage out of the budworms, eh? Well done- interesting to learn that they colonize.

How fortunate you are to have a colony of these lovely warblers close to home. I like the detail of the prey budworm revealed here. Very nice, Paul.
