Photo taken at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas May 8, 2019.

1/1250 sec
f/10
ISO 720

It is difficult to get a descent image of a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.  They always seem to know if a camera is around.  To my surprise, this one was pretty cooperative.

Uncompressed version shows better details.

Great image with a good BG to set the bird off. Calling pose makes it special. There were a couple of them around here in the spring, but they are like finding the needle in a haystack.
