D850, 1/1600, f/6.3,ISO 2000.

Seen yesterday at local beaver pond. A red-winged Blackbird soon came along and harassed it.
Cropped about 1/2 size.

 -Amazing how brave small birds can be in nesting season. RWBB definitely won that round.

What a handsome shot of this hawk, Cindy. I love the pose, the detail, and best of all the wonderful natural setting. An excellent image – congratulations.

Your best yet, Cindy! I love raptors anyway, but this one is posed beautifully in its natural surroundings and the detail you captured is excellent - well worth a click for the uncompressed view to fully appreciate what a fine image this is! Love it!
