Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula
Canon 7D Mark2 + 600mm IS lens 1/500 sec, f/7.1 Mode: Av Metering: Multi-segment Exp comp: -2/3 ISO: 800 I have heard this bird from a public road along a private ranch for 3 years, but this year there were 2 more singing, so I contacted the ranch owner to explore the property. He was happy to oblige. I found only those 3 Connecticut Warblers. I am glad the owner has no interest in logging this area. 5 years ago I had another area with a group of 4 Connecticut warblers on state land that was logged and all the birds left.
